  @dave Federation is going well. There are a lot of issues (and lack of resources), but things are improving at a steady pace.
  In the last few days, both Threads and Flipboard started federating (in limited ways for now to ensure everything works smoothly) and this gives a lot of hope for the future of the Fediverse!
