   I dunno what to say right, it's not the end of the world yet, and it might not even be the end of capitalism, but it definitely *IS* the end of using the fig leaf of liberal "democracies" controlled by capitalists to ignore that continuing on like this will mean the end of the world.

   Everything is falling apart precisely because that fiction can no longer be maintained; we know how the capitalists intend to respond already, who you figure is paying for all that fascism?

     (To be clear, I'm not saying we can or should keep capitalism - just that the death cult might win. I dunno, I can't predict the future. What I can say is the idea that this society is a free and fair social contract between equals is pretty much kaput and clearly the money people are cashing out. At the point were it becomes "end capitalism or most of the species dies" they can't pretend we're CHOOSING that any longer. So the paradigm is being shifted, towards fascism. Obviously.)
