   It seems strange, but on this day 20 years ago I began blogging for the first time. My website has been hacked, seized, and even rescued by some wonderful friends over the years (a story for another time), but is in the process of being repaired and re-uploaded, with more stories to tell, and political commentary, alongside media activist resources and a media activist "manifesto" coming tomorrow!      @HannahCelsius Thank you so much! Tomorrow is when added content will begin to appear. I appreciate your interest and I want to check out more of your works too! The "manifesto" will talk about our abilities to disseminate information and ideas in a punk DIY way, with the internet a key tool.

     This is so cool! I will check tomorrow. I like how we manage (sort of) to maintain our things going.
     I"ve been reuploading and changing etc for years as well. It's a never ending but good story 🙂

     @antiaall3s No fucking way. What are the chances? I love your veritable treasure trove of a website. I also love the fact your anniversary fell at almost the exact time Elon Musk purchased Twitter; what a milestone! What is past is prologue, and all that!

     @antiaall3s I agree. I had started to become frustrated with it more when it became dominated by ads and algorithms but stopped using just over a year ago, then deleted it earlier this year. I had 3,000 followers but it didn't really mean anything; the active accounts that were actually still there last year never even saw much of my content. Whereas I'd been using Mastodon since around 2016 and noticed greater engagement and more meaningful interactions here as time progressed. So: Glad I found you here, not least since I missed you in the Twitter days, and back beyond!
