   Nationally, NC's agriculture is known for inefficiency and shady dealings. That drives business away.

   Just one example: NC's home to the US's largest-ever crop fraud case. People noticed! USDA had to change how they do crop insurance because of us!

     I know from working with farmers in NC that most of them want to do it right.

     But corruption is so normalized that people who try to do it right struggle. People see that & avoid investing in agriculture here.

     That's a leadership failure. We deserve better.

     That's why I'm running for North Carolina's Commissioner of Agriculture.

     We have one of the largest rural populations in the US, and our leadership has left us behind. It doesn't have to be this way!
