   I'm considering switching my single-page personal website on GitHub Pages to #PHP for multilingual support.

   I know, it sounds weird, but I believe PHP still isn't that bad for a one- or two-page website where you want to put some simple server-side functionality (like content negotiation).

     Am implementing HTTP content negotiation with PHP now. Without third-party libraries. In millennial-style PHP code (meaning: vanilla PHP with no framework).

     아 내가 몇 해 前에 왜 스쿨호스팅(phps.kr) 쓰려다 못 썼는지 떠올랐다. 여기는 海外로부터의 FTP 액세스를 다 막아버림. 서비스 센터에 어떻게 안 되냐고 해도 政策이라 풀어줄 수 없다고 그랬다. GitHub Actions에서 빌드해서 FTP로 디플로이하려고 했더니만…

     재미있는 프로그램이네요 ㅎㅎ 앞으로는 한자 섞여있는 글 올려도 제가 쉽게 이해할 수 있겠군요. --원래 한자로 써져있는 단어가 세개 정도 이상 있으면 안 읽었어요. 어쩌다가 다음국어사전에서 검색해보면서 읽을 때 제외..

     @Dewry 널리 읽혔으면 하는 글들은 이미 한글로만 쓰거나 한자어를 최대한 피하고 있긴 해요. 한자어 맘껏 쓰는 글들은 사실상 혼잣말이거나, 아니면 일부러 몇몇 단어를 생소하게 해서 제대로 된 정의를 찾아보길 바라는 경우도 있습니다. 국한문이 마음에 들지 않으실 수 있지만, 이 계정은 저로서는 국한문으로 맘껏 떠들 수 있는 셸터 같은 곳이랍니다. 영어나 일본어도 쓰고 있지만요. (국한문도 어찌 보면 현대 한국어와는 별개의 언어처럼 작용하기도 하지요.)

     국한문으로 맘껏 쓰는 것과 그러면서도 접근성을 높이는 것은 제가 오랫동안 고민하던 갈등입니다. 그래서 선비 같은 프로그램을 만든 거기도 하고, Mastodon에 <ruby>/<rt>/<rp>와 같은 루비 텍스트 태그들을 허용해달라는 이슈를 만들기도 했고요. 장기적으로는 개인 인스턴스를 개설해서 제가 쓰는 모든 글은 자동적으로 선비를 통하게 하는 것도 고려하고 있습니다.

     @hongminhee 아 혼잣말이었다면 접근성이 낮아도 문제없죠! ㅎㅎ Mastodon에 ruby/rt/rp 허용되면 정말 좋겠네요, 제 개인적인 추측으로는 해당 태그들을 허용하는 게 어렵지도 않을 것 같은데...
