   Federal court of appeal judges, all appointed by Trump, have ruled that Idaho’s ER physicians can face prosecution if they perform an abortion to stabilize a patient, unless their actions qualify for the strict exception that states an abortion can be performed to “prevent the death of the pregnant woman.” The GOP is not the party of freedom. It is the party of intrusive government.

     @georgetakei I'm reminded of the scene in The Death of Stalin where, with Stalin in dire need of medical attention, the apparatchiks realize they've executed all the competent doctors.

     Idaho may find itself in a similar position, though thankfully, not by execution but relocation.
