"listen to A LOT of different marginalized people and use your critical thinking skills to draw conclusions from what you hear"

and not, "everything that comes out of a marginalized person's mouth is a profound truth, so go find one or a couple or a handful of marginalized people to tokenize."

yes, the first thing may be much harder - and demand much more of you - but the work was never meant to be easy.
