     @djsumdog @r000t @fiume I still am more or less in the camp that it's bad news when they go after comedians because people that can't handle ridicule are usually more wrong

     It's just a small part from the intro. I wouldn't recommend it as a podcast. I stopped listening to them a while back, cause it's went super downhill as a philosophy podcast.

     @djsumdog @r000t @fiume not every comedy act is gonna be a winner but the entire field is probably not so overwhelmingly bad that it suddenly needs to be heavily policed.

     That is a good point, and there is a purpose to the court jester - because the king has to be able to accept criticism

     I think comedy sucks now for the same reason that news journalism sucks now. The 24-hr cable news channels needing to fill time
