     This image is from Elfen Lied. I would highly recommend people watch the intro to the anime and the first 5-10 minutes of the first episode.

     Most anime is not like that.

     Elfen Lied turned from a very interesting psychological horror show to an exploitation show within a single episode. It’s got a lore of gore (Like an excess amount of very uncomfortable mutilations) on top of sexual taboo shit.
