@thatguyoverthere @BowsacNoodle When I get rich, I want to make a big garden specifically for bees. A bee garden. I'll have lots of lavender, bottlebrush, flowering gums, and other flowers and trees bees like. I don't even need the honey. It's for the bees.

This is such a cool idea. I've been trying to encourage more bees in my garden too. I planted loads of lavender and none of it has taken well so will have to try something else. Luckily they adore the sunflowers and buddleja so they've got something for now at least.

@Grumblesock @BowsacNoodle @thatguyoverthere Apparently the flower actually flavours their honey (unsurprising), so there are some brands of exclusively sourced honey you can buy, where the bees have only partaken of that one flower. Lavender is a popular one.

@CatLord @Grumblesock @thatguyoverthere Yes it does. I have a jar of berry honey in my cupboard. It's remarkable how well it takes flavor.
