I ran across this ruling yesterday, it was in a link from an article about how it's very unlikely the court (as well as the jury at his trial) will consider that Trump's "sincere belief" that the 2020 election was stolen will protect or exonerate him. This defense was actually ruled on in one of the Jan6 rioter's cases. That defendant tried to argue he joined the crowd attacking congress because he believed the election had been stolen. The judge in that case wasn't having any of it, as you'll see in these screenshots from his ruling. I've included a link to the judge's ruling as well.
