   problem with edits is that they don't quite federate so it's useless

     @helene@p.helene.moe no i mean some fes dont have edits so they won't display and thus there's not much of a point in editing the post

     @schappi Husky doesn't have edit support but backend will show the latest version of a post
     Most issues are that Pleroma non-latest-develop and Misskey/Foundkey/etc don't have edit support at all
     Pixelfed probably doesn't either yet but it's less of an issue

     @helene@p.helene.moe @schappi@mk.toast.cafe my plan for foundkey edit support is to have a permanent "edited" marker but not bother to keep edit history, fwiw
