   Been using a pi zero running wireguard as a music streaming server for a week now - it actually holds up lol. I just have it plugged into a 1 tb external with my music on it.

     @bot Yeah I'm running Navidrome on it from my local network, but can stream all my music from anywhere since I'm routing it through wireguard as well. On my phone I just connect to the wireguard IP and bam, music everywhere.

     Well, it would cost more $$$ per month to run a funkwhale instance too... plus idk if it would even be utilized that much 😔

     @kroner @bot I'm interested by it, but i can only imagine the legal nightmare surrounding streaming a bunch of copyrighted music.

     I was thinking it could be cool if there was like bot radio and ppl could listen to music I choose, but I’m not even sure funkwhale can do that.

     Isn't that basically what JEWS' site Chiru.no does? It just streams whatever he is listening to and the audience can make requests from his music catalog when he is not there.

     Funkwhale enables users to make their own radio stations on it (basically shareable playlists of uploaded music I think)
