     @Twoinchdestroya @Elliptica @EdBoatConnoisseur @Owl That’s understandable, have you seen how many nigs n’ spics are at the gym? Guys hear this anti-male speech and picture them as the villain but most of women’s complaints about harrassment come from the brownoid perverts pushing and prodding for a weakness in order to rape them.

     If I were a woman I’d be giving off a perma-churlish vibe just to keep them away, too.

     @Elliptica @EdBoatConnoisseur @Owl @WashedOutGundamPilot It's obvious that it's not overall true, people still couple up, hookups aren't slowing down, and marriages are happening.
     
     Main issues are the men, and to some degree women, who are terminally online not trusting anyone anymore.
     
     Not sure how you remedy it, forcing unsocialized people to socialize may work as exposure therapy, but I'm not sure anymore. Some people just can't people in this day and age.

     @Twoinchdestroya @EdBoatConnoisseur @Owl @WashedOutGundamPilot That's what I want to say, but I've also seen in person, many "toxic" (I'll use their own word against them) women who, at parties or meetups, freakout over even the slightest flirtations. I think that catches some men off guard, and they don't know how to handle it.

     @Owl @Elliptica @WashedOutGundamPilot metoo and the goverment watchlists being a real thing don’t help, plus there’s a bias that if you don’t get any attention whatsoever from women irl the moment you do it is too good to be true, therefore it must be a fake.

     probably a deeply ingrained instinct from the hunter gatherer stage, as humans aren’t the only smart predators and back then there were predators smart enough to wound a common prey animal, wait for a human hunting party and jump them from the back.

     @EdBoatConnoisseur @Owl @WashedOutGundamPilot I am well aware that men are in a weird spot where they are not supposed to ever approach a woman they are interested in almost any circumstance, and that dating websites are wildly stacked against them, but at the same time women still act like men should make the first move. But I also think that this can't apply to all men.
