     Yeah I do something similar for big events. Full the bins, get to the event, drag the bins out. Endex; pack the bins again and go home. Much quicker and easier. And easier to pack than a few giant duffel bags.
     
     I guess the real world version of this would be one of the big rolling hardigg/pelican cases.
