   How long does Fart-Shame last?
   
   Have a female neighbor. Nice lady. Friends with my wife. Always says hi to me when we see each other outside. One day she asks me to help her lift a box of clothes into her car. As we lift the box together, she farts … loud. Look of horror on her face.
   
   That was 2 months ago. Now, if I get home from work and she’s outside in her yard, she runs inside and closes her door. She hasn’t made eye contact with me since fart-day
   
   I feel bad for her. How long does fart Shame last? Anyone know? Just curious

     If you see her when you're driving home, you should turn off you car just up the street and walk. As you get closer, signal her in a way that seems urgent, so she can't run, and then, when she approaches, tell her.... "my car just ran out of gas. Do you have any I can borrow?"
