Good late morning Fediverse! And good Memorial Day to you who are in a broken and degradated America!
I wish I was more consistent with devotionals, but that is a goal for a day when my ill body doesn't fight against me.
"The LORD is a man of war; the LORD is his name." (Exodus 15:3)
Today, misguided Americans will thank the deceased veterans "for their service," "defending freedom and American culture". We know this has been long been a scam since mid-1800's, and we are left wondering how many veterans did not see the obvious of their own government turning against them, their family, and way of life.
Still, we ought to give honor to those that deserve honor (Romans 13:7), not because they fought for a righteous cause. Few in America's history have. We honor those American men who fought well because the Lord is a Man of War, and He wages war in righteousness (Rev. 19:11) and we are called fight similarly, whether through spiritual violence, or if needs be physical. These men who fought still represented the best our civilization had to offer, even if their talents and glory were wasted for naught or worse.
We remember them so we can remember who the enemy truly is and why our enemy is so cruel and evil. We remember that the Lord, being a Man of War, will not show pity or mercy to ruthless evil who have chained us and caused so much grief.
Finally, we must sternly remember that the Lord wages war "to destroy the works of the Devil." (1 John 3:8) If you persist in a life of sin and refuse His Gospel of Peace between Christian man and God, the Lord will wage battle against you, conquer you, and destroy you in Gehenna. (Matthew 10:28 and 12:30) Repent of your sins and turn to Jesus Christ, the Prince of Peace, who will secure true spiritual peace for you and cease all hostility between you and God. (Ephesians 2:14-16)
Remember Christ daily, in prayers, and weekly during the communion that is done in remembrance to the Great Man of War. And today remember those, many of whom who also embraced the Gospel, who fought hard like the Man of War, to the point of death, and pray for a better America that doesn't waste such precious blood any more.
Here is a song for the departed Men of the South, both Grey and post-Civil War Blue. May the Confederate dead not have died in vain!

Your own words condemn you, your bio is full of idolatry and the ways of the sluggard, neither of which shall inherit the Kingdom of God (1 Corinthians 6:9, Matthew 25:30). You even fellowship with varishangout which is astounding, you need to repent or you will burn in hell.
Matthew 5:28-29 But I say unto you, That whosoever looketh on a woman to lust after her hath committed adultery with her already in his heart. 29 And if thy right eye offend thee, pluck it out, and cast it from thee: for it is profitable for thee that one of thy members should perish, and not that thy whole body should be cast into hell.
You are the manner of creep Jude warned about, turning the grace of God into lasciviousness. (1 Peter 4:3-5)
