Amazon drivers urgently need your support to protect their union and win good jobs.
In April, 84 brave drivers and dispatchers working for an Amazon subcontractor in Palmdale, Calif., organized their union with Teamsters Local 396. They negotiated a historic contract that includes wage increases, health and safety standards, a grievance procedure, and other benefits. But Amazon refuses to acknowledge it is the true employer of these Teamsters who deliver its packages.
Workers are demanding their rights and the respect they deserve. But we know that retaliation against them is a real possibility - Amazon has threatened to terminate these workers and has already started messing with their schedules.
