     @hj @medli I mean, yeah, I too have the protestant work ethic too deeply ingrained in me to truly follow that philosophy either, but I like how the narrator explains it

     @cell @medli I'm just this random cat on the internet, you know? I unfortunately don't have great deep wisdoms to tell people, "don't overdo your wageslaving" is basic enough for people to figure out on their own without any life-shattering events (I know *many* people still fall for the rat race trap, maybe a periodic reminder is in order)
     
     Anyway, not intending to be combative, it's just, I don't want to oversell my insight gained from a random stroke of bad luck (and I've been very lucky in many other ways)
     
     Also, yes, let's do it again! Too bad we live a fourth of the planet apart
     fortunately I want to visit that part of the world anyway, with good luck sooner rather than later

     personal projects and other things you (should) actually care about, do those to your heart's content and be happy
