   @ieure I built out a half-atreus several years ago as a kind of contingency plan if anything happened to me but without a motivating reason to invest in learning it I never actually learned the half-size layout I had designed for it

     Like I know mostly where all the keys are already, even though I've never typed on a layout like this before.

     Using my left thumb to toggle halves helps a lot.

     I looked at some prior art for one-handed typing, and whipped up a mirrored qwerty map for my ergodox. It's slow, but not terrible, and weird how my muscle memory is adapting.

     So, I had a mishap today and broke my left pinky finger. Doc says 4-6 weeks to recover.

     Does anyone know of a mostly or fully one-handed keyboard you can write code on? Most of the stuff I've seen is okay for prose and nearly impossible if you need a lot of punctuation.

     Or maybe a QMK layout? I could flash half my Ergodox and use that.
