   Tried the bacon I cured - deliciously salty, nice maple flavour, but seemed a little porky.

   I think I need to cut it thinner. I'm also going to smoke some.

     @Sabex Been making bacon for over 10 years. Cannot stress enough how much a meat slicer will improve your product.
