     I usually like NIV for simplicity but NLV made it clearest . I had no idea what a snare was

     It's a psyop.
     They already did that with the NIV and NLT, the ESV, and the NKJV.
     
     Nonbelievers made those Bibles. They are written by men, not by God. People who think that you can work your way to heaven, or that you have to 'maintain' your salvation by doing rituals.
     
     The KJV is the legacy of your people, it is the correct Bible for English speakers, and there has yet to be a better replacement.

     That's true of every version of the bible though. Very few parts of it are claimed to be divinely transmitted, and even then it's been editorialised heavily.
