   i still find it such a funny boast that i maintain the best library in a certain category for elixir because it's such a comically low bar, all of the alternatives are non-standards-compliant in incredibly basic ways

     it is a bit hacky in some places, it needs optimising, the way messages are passed means that netcode can be held up in ways which are bad, and yet it is still the best because it does things like actually not ignoring content-length

     i am legitimately convinced that most of these people did not read the STOMP spec, because content-length is way way more attractive than hunting for a null byte, at least imo
