   Just finished my application for my gun conceal carry license. I have to admit, it will be really weird walking around with a loaded firearm every day. I have a feeling anyone who sees it on me will get offended or scared, maybe not though, I guess we will see.

     My father who had been a professional hunter would commonly refer to guns that had a major potential to be utilized to rapidly kill multiple animals or humans as assault weapons. Any gun or rifle that can rapidly fire he would classify as a military assault. I am not alleging that you Dr. Freemo possess or own any illegal firearms. I am simply stating that people are extremely tenses due to gun violence. Yes I believe that people have the right to own firearms within the United States.
     I grew up shooting or firing guns and rifles, I am not anti gun ownership, so I am not concerned about what you have, I just hope that other people are just as reasonable as I am.

     There is no thibg as Assault weapon, perhaps you mean assault rifle (that is thr military one). Those are illegal for civilians though no worries. I have an AR-16, its a small game rifle used by farmers to kill foxes and gophers, there isbt anythibg about it that actually mskes it any more dangerous than most other rifles.

     Dr. Freemo please exercise reasonable due care and due diligence due to people being highly stressed over gun violence. I grew up cleaning, repairing, refinishing all types and forms of weapons. Although I am a liberal, I still believe that people should be able to own ordinary weapons. NOT Military Assault Style Weapons; these weapons are just to dangerous for people to misuse.

     @mia The Judge is for in-bedroom defense only. So Anyone I shoot will be pretty close indeed and it is perfect for that purpose.

     My carry would not be the Judge, it would be the HK VP9

     Yeah but you'll want to familiarize yourself with your state's laws regarding no weapons sign some state's they are not legally enforceable, and some of them have criminal punishment on violation. But keep in mind that even in a state that does not enforce weapons signs the property owner can still ask you to leave, and if you refuse you can be charged with trespassing or armed trespassing if they really don't like you.

     Just don't make big deal about it and you'll be fine, as long as you are in a place that you are legally allowed to be it shouldn't be an issue. Don't brandish or threaten people, but that goes without saying.
