     Also if you go to the HRC website and look through the profiles of the 23 trans women murdered, they're almost entirely black prostitutes, two overlapping demographics who are already at a high risk for being murdered.

     Another way to put it:
     
     If you're a dude and start identifying as a woman, your chance of being murdered actually DECREASES.
     
     If you're a woman and you start identifying as a man, your chance of being murdered INCREASES.
     
     Think about that.
