      This! The #fediverse runs on free software. Devs WANT input from users on how to improve the particular platform you're on, but do it the right way. Submit an issue through their git repo, it's far more productive than complaing on the 'verse. RT @alex @thor It should take you all of 5 minutes to open an issue and it would help a lot.

      @coin @alex oh, you know, this might be one reason i rarely feel keen on submitting an issue ticket: it usually never gets fixed. i do the work and it gets ignored most of the time.

      @thor @eris @gnu2 The way I’m going to fix the bug is by downloading JSON for the post that’s broken, and writing a test for it until the output is right. You mentioned the problem before but didn’t give a link to the broken post. So even if you don’t open an issue, I still don’t have the bare minimum information needed to solve this. You said I wouldn’t solve it if you opened an issue, but I would. All I’m asking is for you to do the bare minimum.
