I've known quite a few artists over the years, and most are egotistical af. I even make fun of artists in my own comic (to the surprise of my readers.) Being humble and noticing your own weaknesses forces you to improve.
If the artist who drew this keeps this arrogance, I guarantee his art will look the same in another 10 years, no matter how much time they claim to devote to it. Mediocre/plain/visually lazy at best. Why improve when he's so enlightened and perfect as is? He won't.
You also can't write for shit if every character in your comic is a strawman for you to beat down, instead of understanding other points of view.
Grow up, dude.

Not to mention that Old Man Arnold and Old Man Picasso look very different, physically. Skin might not be as elastic, and there might be some sags all around, but Arnold still looks in better shape than someone who never took the time to work out.
