   Men in Japan are discriminated against if they don't have a girlfriend, I heard you say. I know that it may be difficult to rent an apartment there for a single man. Seems like men aren't really winning.

     Because I'm literally a man in Japan, and I'm not being discriminated against, and renting an apartment has never been easier (I like in a house I bought, but still).
