A group of about two dozen ducks floating in gray-looking water of a large lake. Most of the ducks are Common Goldeneyes, the males black on the head and back and white below and the females more gray all over and dark on top. The one other is a male Hooded Merganser, black and white in the front with a brown side, with a large black and white "hood" crest on its head
