   I think we have let "meme life" of competition for the most titillating content, movers and shakers, dominate us and bedazzle our collective thinking into self-destructive patterns.

   I think we made a fundamental mistake not facing up to Marshall McLuhan's 1968 teachings about James Joyce's 1924 Finnegans Wake, the topic of media ecology and what we are attracted to in terms of media messages and memes.
