The light curve chart below shows the estimated development of the comet's magnitude. Blue and black dots are visual and photometric CCD observations respectively from COBS or the MPC. The gray curve is based on the absolute magnitude and slope parameter as calculated from the original MPEC, or the latest values provided by the MPC (6.50 + 5 log[∆] + 8.00 log[r]), whereas the red curve is being recalculated every 6 hours based on the available COBS/MPC observations (currently 6.35 + 5 log[∆] + 7.88 log[r]). The additional green curve shows the effect of forward scattering, occurring when the comet is between the earth and the sun. http://astro.vanbuitenen.nl/comet/2023A3

Here is the observed and projected light curve of comet Tsuchinshan–ATLAS from the excellent website http://astro.vanbuitenen.nl/comet/2023A3 by @giddgvb
Apparent magnitude 6.5 and below are visible to the unaided eye, under good visibility conditions (lower magnitude means brighter). Objects about 3 magnitudes fainter can be seen with binoculars.
Current brightness is around 3. Peak brightness at mag 2.5 is expected around Oct 10. Forward scattering by the Sun may cause mag -2.5 level brightness.
