Screenshot of the Trending Hashtags page on a Mastodon instance. Trending hashtags have a custom icon next to them depending on the keywords they contain. Music-related hashtags have a music icon. Movie/TV-related hashtags have a popcorn icon. Nature-related hashtags have a tree icon. etc… Hashtags that don’t have a custom icon fall back to a tag icon.
