   Because of drought in the Midwest reducing the flow of the Mississippi and rising sea levels raising the height of the gulf of Mexico, salt water is gradually intruding towards New Orleans. This means the city will no longer have clean water in around a month.
   The government is planning to barge in up to 136M litres of water a day, and may replace that with a pipeline costing quarter of a billion dollars.
