A new study warns that some parts of the world have already grown too hot for human survival. The study identifies 21 weather stations that recorded conditions exceeding the no compensable heat threshold, where humans cannot cool down without intervention. This means that millions of people are at risk of heat-related illness or death, especially in the Persian Gulf and South Asia coastal areas.
