A chat exchange. First person: "Sorry | had to message you. Naomi jumping of a ship to another ship in space and stabbing her self in the leg to the antidote . Is the biggest bull shit I've seen. | would put it up there with Fast and the Furious. She needs to die man. Her character pisses me off." Second person: "It's not an antidote, it's oxygenated blood. You can actually survive for 12-14 seconds in vacuum without a space suit before you die of radiation impact astrophysicists and scientists have written about that scene and it checks out. She exhales out and collapses her lungs before going into vacuum to stop them rupturing as she moves out too."

If you've never read the books or watched the series, but you love sci-fi, you *must* check out The Expanse. Both the story and the science are amazing.
There's a scene where one of the main characters, Naomi Nagata, jumps out an airlock, without a space suit, and floats to another ship.
My daughter is 12-years-old and I read her to sleep at night. We're currently on book 5 of The Expanse.
