People wonder why I switched away from Linux to Mac, and this is one of the reasons why. Accessibility isn't taken seriously, it feels more bolted on than actually considered, in KDE especially. That keyboard monitoring API has had the same caps lock bullshit bug for over a year now and nobody's fixed it. Gnome is better, but only a bit better when you consider that GTK 4 terminals only became accessible recently, and calling them usable is being generous. You have to use the old GTK3 terminals that work and hope GTK 4 pulls its head out of its rotting decaying ballsack in time to fix it before GTK3 gets taken out of the package repositories years down the line.
