On Gentoo, I noticed things on the GURU don't build because they don't support python3_14, or are old version (and i need the up to date ones for xyz), so the utility of the GURU goes to hell. Ironically, much to the detriment of mgorny, LLMs are good at making ebuilds, but damn is it annoying after a while, maybe because I don't have a subscription yet. I was thinking about jumping to Fedora, but I need some advanced features like ACPI table modification, and I have my own patches for thigns that'd be annoying to try to maintain on Fedora. NixOS is a mess, too.
