Jeans were workwear.<\/p><p>The early 70s, folk-rock was a big part of rock, not just the Stones; CSNY singing about farms and woods were also all about anti-consumerism.<\/p><p>It was very frustrating when rich people invented \"designer jeans\"...<\/p><p>We wished for a world where you CR Asians and indeed CR anybody, were eye-rolls, and not cool.   They'd face \"how many kids died for that sweater\".
