It's a very specific human experience, having to learn how to take care of your child's hair because most people of your culture & ethnicity don't have hair like that and so don't know what to do with it.<\/p>
It's not rare though. Normal people love who they love & partner up with people across race\/culture\/ethnicity all the freaking time. This is stuff I take for granted these days. I know that I can learn random stuff all the time about how other people live their lives & experience the world. It's often extremely small & mundane. It will be small things like learning a figure of speech people somewhere else use, or seeing some aspect of daily life for someone who lives very differently than me.<\/p>
I don't have to go looking for this stuff. It's just normal stuff that comes up in my feed sometimes.
