A SONNET FOR THE MOON \ud83c\udf12<\/p>
I saw the moon tonight.
God, she took my breath away.
A partial view but of that despite
so beautiful as clouds across her swayed. <\/p>
She sat low on the horizon
not oft seen as if relaxed and happy
A soft smile illuminated and brightened
the darkened night effortlessly.<\/p>
A breeze brushed my barely clothed skin.
But I could feel a comforting warmth.
It is her tidal pull in my veins again.
Big against the sky I was drawn forth<\/p>
I haven't seen her that way in years.
I saw the moon tonight and she brought me to tears.<\/p>
